Brentford have accelerated preparations for their 2026–27 Premier League season by moving swiftly in the summer transfer market, with the club agreeing a £17 million deal to sign winger Jaidon Anthony from Burnley. It is one of the Bees’ first major signings under head coach Keith Andrews, who is leading a squad rebuild at the club ahead of the new campaign.

As for the Bees, they’re still looking to bolster their midfield options with a number of names expected to be on the club’s shortlist. But strengthening the engine room will remain a core focus for them before the transfer window shuts in early September.
